El [U1] comparativo se usa en inglés para comparar diferencias entre dos sustantivos. El superlativo se emplea para indicar el extremo superior o inferior de la cualidad del sustantivo.


 




Ejemplos:                                              
  • My dog is older than hers - Mi perro es más viejo que el suyo.
  • My room is bigger than my brother's - Mi cuarto es más grande que el de mi hermano.
  • This clock is smaller than the one I lost - Este reloj es más pequeño que el que perdí.
  • His presentation is more interesting than mine - Su presentación es más interesante que la mía.
